Feng Shui

Feng Shui is a Chinese millennial art of harmonizing not only the house energy but also the inhabitants' lives.

According to FS, the energy in your house or workplace reflects on your life in both a positive and a negative way.

There are many kinds of Chinese objects that people use to balance the energy in the living spaces by deploying this technique in their houses. However, I'm not adept at it. In my opinion, if the objects that I put inside my house don't represent anything to me, because of my culture or beliefs, they can't help me anyway.

I prefer to apply it as a whole by putting things including pictures, colors, materials, decoration objects and anything else related to all my dreams and goals in every room.

So that you have a better understanding of how experts usually place the Bagua (a Chinese drawing or tool) on the floor plan, have a look at the picture below:

As I said before, you can place the bagua on your floor plan and divide your house in 9 parts (eight sides and the center) or you can do like me. 

How do I do?

First I think about each side of the bagua, 

Then I set a goal for each one, and

Finally I start looking for information related to my goals as well as thinking of ways to get them (I mean, some action plans).

Piece of cake?

No, of course not.

Firstly, that's because most people know clearly what they don't want for their lives, but they are unclear about their wishes. When you know clearly what you want, you get started seeing things or signs related to your aims.

Secondly, some people start this practice thinking about impossible things. For example, if you want a car and you don't have none, think about a possible car, in other words, think about a price that fits in your pocket even in a long term perspective. Don't think on a Ferrari straight away to not be disappointed if you don't get it. After reaching your objectives, you may improve your dreams and wish something better and better.

Don't be all or nothing.

Lastly, use the five senses to be in touch with your dreams. 

Seeing

Hearing

Smelling

Tasting

Touching

In other others, gathering as much information as you can on your dreams.
